Tillandsia xerographica is the sturdiest of the airplants. It grows in areas of intense sunlight and requires less water than most, it’s really a stand-alone specimen plant. I have one at home that has lived for years on a terra-cotta tray in a south facing window, only getting water every month or so from a drinking glass when I wasn’t too groggy to remember.
These size are around 5-8 years old.
water 2-3x monthly, if kept in very bright light you may leave water in the leaves.
